Zyler Vega
Zyler's love of music brought him to the electric guitar when he was ten years old. Though he did begin to take an interest in high school, he initially eschewed traditional theory, playing rock and punk with his friends. As he began to discover some of the more well-known electronic musicians his fascination grew, leading him on an endless search for obscure dance music. It was not long after that he began to produce his own tracks; he began DJing shortly after graduating high school.
Zyler moved to Boston in the fall of 2003 as a Computer Science major at Northeastern University. His sophomore year he decided to change direction and pursue a dual major with Music Technology. Having refined his music production skills and software set over the years, he expanded his horizons even more by studying the broad variety of electronic music that had come before him.
These days, Zyler continues to produce his own music as well as playing DJ sets and coordinating events. After graduating from NEU he hopes to continue his music career both by producing electronic music of various genres and by producing events.
