Andrew Sclafani
Andrew Sclafani was born in Boston, but raised in Hauppauge, New York. Though interested in music from a young age, it wasn't until he received a guitar when he was 13 that he began practicing songwriting and composition. Throughout High School, he was trained in both music theory and audio production learning to use programs such as Digidesign's Pro Tools and Propellerhead's Reason. During this time he also wrote, recorded and performed with several rock bands, played double bass in his high school orchestra and taught himself piano.
Upon his arrival at Northeastern University in 2004 he became interested in electroacoustic music, and began working on new compositions with Professors Mike Frengal and Ron Smith. During his time here he has written many pieces of music ranging from electroacoutic to pop to experimental hardcore. Upon graduating in May 2009, he hopes to continue his musical career and pursue work in the field of audio production.
I'm not really sure what media I want to put on the website yet, but this sentence is fine for filler.
