Concert of Digital Artists

The Northeastern University Music Department is pleased to present a concert of works by graduating senior class composers in the Music Technology program. The concert will be held in two parts, the first beginning at 5:00 PM and lasting until 7:00 PM. After an intermission and reception, the second half of the program will start at 8:00 PM and will finish at 10:00 PM.

The concert will feature a number of world premieres of instrumental works performed by top Boston freelance musicians as well as works for prerecorded media. There will also be several works that involve live interactive electronics and others that include a video component. Students in the Music Technology program have undertaken rigorous training in a variety of approaches to composition for new media. The works being presented display a broad range of styles and genres.

Admission to the concert is free and based upon a first come, first served basis
